Countries contributing to scientific research

There is a recent publication from Nature that ranks the countries contributing to research.

Few Points from the article 

1. A strong science base need not lead directly into wealth generation.

2. Only 31 of world`s 193 countries produce 97.5 percent of worlds most cited paper.
